In these camps structured for 4.5 to 6-year-olds, students will learn basic pre-ballet movements in a daily 1-hour dance class, become familiar with some very basic ballet terminology, listen to music from the ballet, and watch the ballet on DVD. The children will also do arts and crafts activities based on ballet throughout the week, and explore movement through creative expression. Must be potty trained and able to separate from the parent. Dress code for girls is a leotard and tights (leotard may have a skirt attached but no tutu), and light pink ballet shoes. Hair should be swept back in a ponytail or a bun. Boys should wear a white shirt, black shorts or tights, and black ballet shoes.
